Is it wrong that I am watching this election blow by blow much more intently than I am watching my team? This stuff is getting good, dang.
I voted early....first election in my life where they offered a barf bag with the ballot.
I would not have believed before this year that they could field EIGHTEEN candidates I wouldn't want to vote for to be Dogcatcher of Kinific, Texas.
Sir, I don't post much, but have lurked for years, and I've seen many of your posts.
Although I may take an occasional shot at BU, I want you to know that I feel bad for persons like you. It is tragic that the leadership of BU has let so many people down. That it is has failed them so miserably.
And, in the wake of this scandal, it's pretty much impossible for a Baylor fan to handle himself better than you have. If you are a BU graduate, then you are a credit to your university sir.

all I can say is....if this team just rolls over and goes titties up against Baylor without even trying, I would expect Strong to be shown the door before Monday morning.

I don't understand what can be wrong with this team OTHER than coaching. The talent is there. The kids LOVE Strong and would run through walls for him.....soooo what could it be? It has to be coaching. The kids don't know what to do or how to do it...at least it seems that way. I would not be surprised if Texas loses by 30 or wins by a few. That is sad.
It will definitively seal his fate, but I would be stunned if they make any moves before the end of the regular season. Fenves appears dead-set on letting Strong coach all 12 games.
It is coaching. The defense lines up with 3 defensive linemen to stop the run. The defensive backs line up 7-10 yards from the line of scrimmage and are consistently outnumbered. We stunt our outside linebackers and ends, therefore, failing to contain the end (force runs inside). Everything is wrong with our defense-alignment, scheme, and players out of position.

Thank you for the kind words. In all honesty, its almost embarrassing wearing the BU shirt around town. You wouldn't believe the stares and looks of disdain. Whoever said its better to have loved and lost than never loved at all is full of sh*t. I was much happier a decade ago when we sucked - a lot less stress and confrontation.
UT beats a really good 1AA team at home, but will lose next week in Lubbock. It's how we do it (the Charlie Strong way)!!! Win one lose one...
As painful as that was, can I at least get some love for nailing this one? BTW the money line at +155 soothes the pain. But only a little.
