UVA and NC State slated to play a non-conference series even though both are ACC schools

I must’ve missed this. NC State bailed on a road game against App State to make this happen. The excuse is even worse because it implies that a win against Virginia looks much better than a win against App State on the road, which I’d argue is not the case. What a joke of a conference the ACC has become.

ACC schools Virginia and NC State announced Wednesday they would play a home-and-home series in football that will not count as an official conference game.
