The Athletic asked 95 players in the NCAA tournament, 85 of them in the Sweet 16:

- On the flip side, which coach would they not want to play for?
- Dawn Staley (SC) - 38, last season she got 49
- Geno Auriemma (UConn) - 11
- Kenny Brooks (Kentucky; was VaTech at the time) - 6
- Tara Vanderveer (Stanford) and Yolett McPhee-McCuin (Ol' Miss) - 3
- A bunch of other coaches at 2 including Skeletor who was 2nd last year with 8
- Skeletor - 32
- Kelly Graves (Oregon) - 7
- Jeff Walz (Louisville) - 5
- Geno - 2
- Vic - 2
