9:50 p.m. update:
In a great match between two teams that look to go deep into the tournament, the Texas comeback fell short.
The differences in the game, both of which Baylor needed to secure the upset over the top ranked Longhorns:
—Yossiana Pressley was the best player on the floor. No question about it. 31 kills at the end of the night. Texas never found a way to shut her down.
—The service errors were costly. The Longhorns couldn’t avoid getting in their own way. Texas totaled 16 throughout the game and of course the last one is the one that ends the match.
—If Texas finds ways of limiting Pressley earlier OR keeps the service errors to a minimum, Texas most likely wins one of the first two sets and leaves Waco with a W.
A big night in Waco turns out to be a victory for the Bears.

Match Time: 7:00 p.m.
Location: Ferrell Center, Waco, TX
Where to Watch: ESPN+
The top-ranked Longhorns (19-2, 13-0) head to Waco to take on the third-ranked Baylor Bears (21-1,11-1) in a showdown of top-tier volleyball clubs. Baylor looks to avenge their only loss, which came in a one-sided affair at Gregory Gym back in October. Texas will fight to stay undefeated in Big 12 play and expand their chances of getting a top seed in the tournament.
There is no doubt Texas has all the confidence in the world heading into the Ferrell center having won 14 in a row (dominating every Big 12 opponent in their path). The Longhorns are led by the attacking force of Micaya White and Logan Eggleston along with the blocking power of Brionne Butler. Tonight is a chance for Texas volleyball to make a national statement and show why they deserve the #1 ranking.
From the perspective of the home club, tonight is all about redemption. The Bears drove back to Waco shocked and embarrassed a month ago, but all can be redeemed by returning the favor.
Building up to be a huge game. Find a way to get it on a screen near you! Maybe you have a friend with ESPN+? If not, we'll have all the updates to keep you informed.
