This bit of advice is from a man who drank his college beers often from a keg and only wax paper beer cups were available. Save the old cups and use them to increase the strength of the new cup. There is nothing worse than grabbing a wax paper beer cup toward the end of a beer and feeling the sides cave in and the magic golden liquid cascade onto the ground. This was especially true when the keg came with far too few cups and the same cup needed to be used repeatedly.
Of course, many might suggest the true solution is not to drink so slowly...or to hand a 'free' beer to a Land Thief in a crumbling cup and watch it drench her tank top.
