Okay, all you WW2 History Nuts, get in here. I'm reading Atkinson's An Army at Dawn and can't help but feel the French will forever be for me the "Cheese Eatin' Surrender Monkeys." Someone tell me how Marshall Petain wasn't shot at the end of the war along with some others who were part of the Vichy government.
