Longhorns will need to limit what freshman G Mikayla Blakes (22.1 ppg) and sophomore F Khamil Pierre (21.0 ppg, 10.2 rpg) do. Blakes loves to shoot the 3 (7 attempts per game, 33.1%). She went 16/24 from the field (5/9 from BTA) last Thursday against Florida on her way to setting the NCAA freshman single-game scoring record as well as the SEC single-game record with 53 points.
The Longhorns can't afford to look past Vandy toward the game against South Carolina Sunday or they will be in serious jeopardy of dropping a pivotal SEC home game.
