Tonight should be the 2nd to last "tune-up" game of the season as the Longhorns (10-1) take on the Explorers (6-5). It might be very reminiscent of Texas MBB vs Arkansas-Pine Bluff. LaSalle should be at least a 40-point win for Texas before a tricky game Sunday against a good South Dakota State team with wins over ranked teams (Oregon and Creighton) as well as a close 75-71 loss to #9 Duke.
Against a very undersized opponent, LaSalle only has 1 player taller than 6' 1" (6' 2" G Vega Gil) and she has yet to see the floor this season, the Texas forwards and posts should go off. Speaking of position distribution, 12 of the 15 players on the Explorers' roster are listed as guards with the other 3 being forwards (6', 6' and 6' 1"). Don't be surprised if the Explorers spend the entire game in a collapsed zone daring the Horns to shoot from distance.
