ULL Has lost 4 games in 2 years. Spanked Iowa State in 2020, and has nearly all their starters coming back. They are a no-brainer top 15 team. Thankfully we have them at home.
Then we have Meth U East — Arkansas in piggy land. They will be sky high, and the crowd will be loud!
0-2 is not unexpected if not probable. 1-1 would be good. 2-0 will portend a very good year.
All 3 of our losses last year were definitely winnable; and in fact, 2 of them should have been won. Of course, we also had some miraculous wins.
But if we are 2-0 on Sept. 12, I see only 2 probable losses on the schedule, (OU and Iowa’s State), maybe 3 (OSU). IMO our team has plenty of talent but has been damn near rudderless in leadership from coaching for at least 2 years. This teams worst enemies reside between the Longhorns on the helmets.
If Sark can turn that around, next year will be a very good year.
