9 p.m. update - Interesting note here ... I'm hearing from a Katy source that Nick Saban was in Katy today, presumably to see DT Moro Ojomo. Alabama offered Ojomo yesterday. Last word I got from Ojomo late last week was that he'd visit Oregon this coming weekend. It'll be interesting to see if Alabama can get him to switch that up and take a visit to Tuscaloosa.

Also, in a note you all will love, Lake Travis 2019 WR Garrett Wilson tells me he will visit Texas this weekend. He'll also visit A&M.

Texas will have a few guys on campus this weekend (Wilson, Rafiti Ghirmai, Byron Hobbs, Malcolm Epps, Marcus Hicks, Zachary Evans).

******

--- New Orleans LB Andrew Parker tells me he still has not formally decided on what he'll do this weekend.

"I'm still going through it. I have to make a decision by tomorrow," Parker said.

This one could go one of three ways ... Parker may visit Texas, he may visit TCU, or he may try squeeze both in over the weekend.

--- Busy day for graduate transfer OL Calvin Anderson, with visits from Auburn, Oklahoma, TCU and Michigan. In case you missed it last night, Tom Herman and Herb Hand met with Anderson on Tuesday.

--- Texas is supposed to be in-home with Boling athlete Vernon Jackson tonight. Jackson, who is still committed to Alabama, is scheduled to visit Texas A&M this weekend. Alabama was in-home last night and per a Bama source, is really trying to hold on to Jackson's commitment.

--- Still no word from OL/DL Christian Jones on whether he'll visit Texas or Vanderbilt this weekend. I've got a text out to him so hopefully will hear back at some point tonight.

--- Heard though the grapevine tonight that Texas checked on Jaylen Waddle this week (I have not confirmed). Obviously, Texas would love to get Waddle on campus for one last visit. I have not heard that anything has been set up, but that'll be a story we'll be monitoring this weekend. Waddle to Texas feels like a longshot at this point, but he's kept everyone guessing so maybe Texas can pull a rabbit out of its hat.

--- Still no direct word for me from Keaontay Ingram on his status after last weekend's A&M visit. In talking to someone tonight, there's a feeling that the Aggies made a nice pitch, but the person I talked expects Ingram to sign with Texas next week. A&M did visit Ingram on Tuesday, which I find interesting. You wouldn't think Jimbo Fisher would make that trip if there's not some level of interest.

--- I spoke with Keondre Coburn tonight. He tells me he is not taking any visits this weekend. Coburn did visit Miami recently and hosted a few Miami coaches on an in-home visit this week, but I expect him to stick with his Texas commitment and sign with UT on Wednesday.
