Friday 10:20 a.m. update:
Per Brian Perroni of 247Sports, Brenham 2017 DE/LB Marquez Bimage decommitted from Houston. Bimage received an offer from Texas on December 11th. Obviously, he's going to be one to follow closely.
Thursday, 7:40 a.m. Update: Aledo offensive lineman Chuck Filiaga named his final three on Twitter this morning and the Longhorns did not make the cut. Filiaga is the No.24 prospect in the state in the latest LSR Top 100.
Wednesday 3:20 p.m. update:
Interesting news here:
Kylin Hill, a 2017 running back from Columbus, Mississippi that is a Mississippi State commitment, just received an offer from Tom Herman. Last week, Hill tweeted that he was shutting down his recruiting process.
Tuesday 10:15 pm update - Texas offers WR Jordan Pouncey, a Notre Dame commitment.
Tuesday 8:20 p.m. update - RB Daniel Young has decommitted from Houston. Young has a Texas offer and is planning to take a Texas official visit in January.
Tuesday 6 p.m. update - Texas has extended an offer to 2018 Rivals100 WR Jermaine Eskridge.
The Tampa Jefferson product is already approaching 70 offers. Not bad.
Tuesday 3:10 p.m. update - North Shore defensive end K'Lavon Chaisson has set up his five official visits:
LSU - Jan 13-15
Oregon Jan 17-19
Texas Jan 20-22
Colorado Jan 23-25
USC January 27-29
Tuesday 2:45 p.m. update - Tight end Chase Rogers will take a UT official visit in January. Rogers took an unofficial visit to Texas for the West Virginia game.
Tuesday 8:15 a.m. update - Texas is evaluating 2019 Port Neches-Groves QB Roschon Johnson, and Johnson says he has a definite interest in the Longhorns.
“I’ve heard from the Texas staff,” Johnson said. “They were saying how they hope to see me throw in person before they would offer me.
“Texas has been a school that I followed growing up and that I like,” Johnson said. “I really like Coach Herman and what he did at Houston, I kept up with him a lot while he was there.”
A few of you have asked if Texas might make a run at Lake Travis QB Charlie Brewer, and SMU commit. Not yet, according to Brewer.
“Right now, I’m verbally committed to SMU. I have a great relationship with Coach Morris and the rest of the staff,” Brewer said.
“I have not talked to UT. When Coach Herman was at Houston, I talked to his staff, but not since they’ve been at UT.” (Robert Larkin)
Monday 2:45 p.m. update - Texas has extended an offer to 2018 Rockdale ATH Jaquayln Crawford.
Sunday 9:15 p.m. update - Jenks (OK) tight end Reese Leitao has decommitted from Nebraska. Leitao took an official visit to Texas before the dead period.

Sunday 7:20 p.m. update - I just talked to San Antonio Reagon OL Derek Kerstetter, who picked up a Texas offer on Friday. Kerstetter has been committed to Oklahoma State since this summer but he told me he plans to take a UT visit the weekend of January 13.
The 6-5, 290-pound offensive tackle prospect will participate in the Army All-American game on January 7.
Some video from the first half of his senior year ...
Sunday 7:20 p.m. update part II - Texas offered Los Angeles Cathedral WR Jamire Calvin on Friday, and there's a chance Texas could get a visit in January.
Calvin has a final four of Alabama, Notre Dame, Nebraska and Washington State and plans to commit at the Army Bowl, but said he plans to take his fifth and final visit after his commitment to either Miami or Texas.
Feels like a longshot for the Rivals250 member since Texas is just getting involved, but Calvin is open to the idea of taking a UT visit, so that's something.
