Thursday 4:40 p.m. update - Just checked on Kenyatta Watson. The UT DB commitment was hoping to make it to Austin this weekend but will not be able to come in due to his father having a previous commitment.
Wednesday 8:55 a.m. update - The recruiting dominoes continue to fall. Georgia has landed a commitment from RB Kenny McIntosh, which will likely impact Noah Cain's decision. Cain is looking more and more like it'll come down to Texas or Penn State.
Tuesday 6:35 p.m. update - Busy day ... 2020 QB Mikey Henderson trims his list to 6, Longhorns make the cut.
Tuesday 6:30 p.m. update - John Emery has committed to LSU. Big development for Texas here. This should really impact Noah Cain's recruitment.
Tuesday 5:30 p.m. update - Big development here. JUCO DE Jacoby Jones has decommitted from Oklahoma. Jones has visited UT once in May and will be back in Austin this weekend for an official visit.
Tuesday 3:35 p.m. update: Episcopal (Houston) defensive end Patrick Bayouth has chosen to attend Texas as a preferred walk-on.
Bayouth holds a few scholarship offers, including one from Houston.
Tuesday 11:45 a.m. update - Adding a few players who will be visiting this weekend, including a couple A&M commits ... Javonne Shepherd isn't on the list, but he'll be coming as well.
Monday 8:30 p.m. update - A couple visit notes of interest ...
New RB offer D.J. Williams tells me he'll take a Texas official visit on the weekend of December 7. He'll be at Auburn this weekend and Miami the following weekend.
Also, OU DE commitment Jacoby Jones will take a Texas official visit this weekend.
Monday 8:50 a.m. update - Many (LA) defensive end Myron Warren released a list of favorites last night: Texas, Oregon, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Tennessee, Florida, LSU, Miami and Georgia.
Needless to say, he's still pretty open. Warren will be at UT's game against Iowa State on Saturday.
Sunday 8:30 p.m. update -
--- RB Noah Cain is still on his official visit to Penn State but there have been a couple changes with him. Ohio State will no longer get a visit. Instead, he'll visit Georgia next weekend and push his LSU visit back to the first week of December. Cain is set to announce his decision on December 19 on ESPN.
--- I spoke with JUCO DL Malcolm Lee tonight. The Iowa Western C.C. product told me he'll be at Iowa the day after Thanksgiving to watch the Hawkeyes host Nebraska. He's talked with Oscar Giles about visiting Texas in December (although Lee said he'd like to take the visit in November if possible). Lee has already visited Houston.
In talking to Lee, Iowa and Texas seem to be the top two, with Houston a close third.
