Was listening to an interview with a Houston based reverend and he made this comment. Gave me goosebumps because it is so true.
I hate that people are having to go through this horrific storm, but the way people are responding is proving what it means to be a Texan and what it means to be an American. Nobody gives a shit who voted for who, it's about helping. Of course there are exceptions and some idiots acting like fools, but we are rightly choosing to focus on those in need and the amazing deeds of people.
