this is why the center is worried about the precedents trump is setting. allows extremes on both sides flourish. Obviously, POTUS overstepping executive power didn’t start with trump but with all the itching and whining from the right about Obama abusing executive power (which I agree with) it’s a damn shame that group is allowing it to hit new highs. Hard to envision this self correcting before something disastrous happens. although that’s the biggest lesson from trump is everyone says they are against authoritarianism until it’s their ideology that has the authority.
