Since most of the threads in the Corral right now are just saying the same things over and over and just going in circles and turning everyone's brain into mush, here's a little change of pace for you guys 
Here is part of what Abigail Adams wrote in a letter to John Adams back in July, 1775, about meeting George Washington for the first time.
Especially read the part I bolded and ask yourself if there are any leaders on the scene today in the world of politics that would fit those descriptions. Sadly, I can't think of anyone.
I was struck with General Washington. You had prepaired me to entertain a favorable opinion of him, but I thought the one half was not told me. Dignity with ease, and complacency, the Gentleman and Soldier look agreably blended in him. Modesty marks every line and feture of his face.
