Disclaimer: I realize Sark is sticking with Quinn Ewers and this just a few reasons why we are shooting ourselves in the foot.
1) Arch Manning has a better toolkit than Ewers right now (he’s better at running, possesses better QB awareness and efficiency, and can throw the deep ball better than Ewers)
2) Game experience is what we should be giving Arch now, looking ahead to next season, with the possibility of winning it all this season or next season. If we don’t win the title this season with QE, we have wasted valuable game experience for Arch Manning heading into next season. What’s worse is QE is not going pro and is very likely going to transfer to another SEC school next season. This means we are giving valuable reps to QE and he will likely be playing against us next season…
3) If we wait for Arch Manning until next season, we never get to see LT Kelvin Banks and RT Cam Williams (both 1st round NFL picks) with Arch under center in the CFP when the games matter most
I will not reply back to QE apologists or the fanboys.
This is my 2 cents. Big picture. I really hope QE wins us a title.
