Is he a son of one of the BMD's? He is a little wet behind the ears. How does he have such a connection here? Is there some sort of nepotism going on here? Someone connect the dots for me because I'm not seeing his greatness.

He was a GA under Mack and he's winning in state. That's pretty much it. If he were the coach at Memphis doing this I doubt he gets a call.

So the BMD's get access and golf with the coach. Mack was a used car salesmen and without Vince Young he's pretty average. Guess that's why Saban nick named him Mr. Football. Can we call Herman "Mr. Football Jr."? lol

How old are you? Mack Brown had 12 straight years at Texas with 9+ wins and 9 straight years with 10+ wins. VY played for only 3 of those years. Hardly a used car salesman.

Herman has Texas connections but its not all about nepotism. Hes actually done pretty well in his career if you haven't noticed.

Herman also know Texas high school football and is well thought of by the coaches in this state. He can take the job and run with it without much issue of having to learn who the talent is. He probably already has lots of relationships with guys we are after.

No. Not true. Many colleges outside of Texas will be after Herman....including LSU. But don't let the truth get in the way of your bias.
