I'm sure I am I'm going to regret this but why is it that yelling fowl and demeaning things at opposing players and coaches during baseball games just passed of of just baseball? Yesterday after as we were just about to end a great weekend at the Disch by winning the series from LSU this Longhorn fan come into our section in about the 7th inning and starts yelling at the top of his lungs at a LSU coach. Now this coach hadn't done anything rude or even controversial during the the game or even during the entire series but this guy is really laying into him.

Now I know all about the Wild Bunch (I've been tailgating with some them for many years) and the tradition of ragging on our opponents but I really don't understand it? How is yelling personal things at players and coaches going to help your team win? To my mind it just makes you and your fanbase a-holes and frankly Aggys and embarrassments to the University. Yes I did stand up and yell at him to shut up like an old man (which I am BTW) shouting at kids on the front lawn and it probably wasn't my finest moment and there were a couple of things I wish I hadn't said but after three days of some good natured fun and ribbing with a lot of LSU fans in our section all weekend I was mad that this guy was going to validate what many of them thought about Longhorn fans all along. I just don't get it.
