It feels like a lot longer, but it’s been only 12 days since Trump picked Vance for his VP candidate. It’s already clearly a disastrous choice from DJT.
Some of ya’ll MAGA nutballs might still like Vance, but a lot of what Americans have learned about this guy in recent weeks is off-putting, to say the least. He’s just a weird, awkward guy…zero charisma, a light resume, and probably a major turnoff for many women voters. Worse, he’s expressed a lot of oddball, extreme ideas that are way, way outside the mainstream.
Looks like Tucker and the Trump sons led DJT astray
I gotta believe Trump would be far better off with the broader electorate had he instead picked a qualified conservative woman. Or, the Repub VP pick that concerned me most was a Rubio type, adding a veneer of normalcy to the ticket and a permission structure for soft Trump supporters to blind themselves to DJT’s nutty brand of drama and chaos.
I give it a 51% chance Vance is dropped.
