I just don’t understand the woman (or man), who simply won’t commit to counseling before deciding on divorce.
I have 2 failed marriages. Marriage 1 was for 17 years. 2 kids together. She went to 3 therapy sessions, walked out, and said she’d never go back. Marriage 2 was for 10 years. 1 kid together. She tells me out of nowhere that she wants a divorce. No interest in counseling whatsoever.
There is no doubt in my mind that my 2nd marriage was fixable with a little hard work. And that is why I am totally heartbroken.
