Now the team that hired him issued a statement saying after consulting with the league Briles won't be joining them. I'm no fan of Briles but I kinda have a problem with that. If you announce your hiring the guy stand up and take the heat. If your not willing to do that then don't even talk about hiring him. Its wrong to announce it and then when the heat gets to big go "oh wait never mind"

Don't get me wrong the guy should never coach again but if a program or organzation wants to hire him man up and do it. Don't announce it and then back down when you get heat.

The way it was handled the CFL probably comes out more embarrassed than anything They look pretty amature.
As much as he shouldn't he will probably coach again at some point on some level. There are to many high schools and college programs out there with win at all costs attitude. And he's easily one of the top 10 college football coaches in the country. It will take a few years but someone will pull the trigger. I mean Dave bliss is coaching high school basketball and he really wasn't anything special.
