Surprising large percentage are in the financial industry. Says a lot about the quality of the UT business school.
I co-own and am the head of sales for a Document Management Software reseller and IT support company.
I lead entrepreneurial strategy & planning for California Pizza Kitchen in Los Angeles.
I also recently founded a unique business that allows any Joe Schmoe in America to buy almost any car imaginable at or near cost. I started the business thinking that a few years down the road I'd be able to do it full time, but business has really taken off and I'm looking to be full time by the end of the year (currently working on incorporating & designing the website). It seems there's a huge market for people who want to save $3k to $20k on a new car w/o having to haggle or step foot in a dealership!

My cousin and great aunt have been missionaries in Zambia for 50 years. They are in the Chavuma (i believe that's how you spell it) province. Absolutely incredible people. My cousin is 70 and knows more about IT stuff than most people on this board (jcdenton is an exception!).
We have been here for a year and we are located in Lusaka. I have not heard of Chavuma province. Beautiful people here and we are really enjoying it.

Professional lurker here, I got started on football message boards mostly on HS sites as I have a prospective UT student/athlete now in his early teen years. I have my fingers crossed he makes it one way or the other although the odds highly favor the student route. In any event, we both bleed burnt orange.
In real life I practice law in San Marcos (thus the rattler portion of the handle), board certified in consumer & commercial law, handle most types of civil litigation and the general small town practice.

small firm up in Georgetown, Steger & Bizzell Engineering, I've been working here a little over a year after graduating ChE at UT in May of 2002. We do engineering work for several water supply corps (my area of focus) as well as subdivisions, site plans, surveying, et al. What about you?
Celanese typically provides UT with a real world plant design of their own for the Chem. Engineering plant design class project. I remember mine had something to do with acetic acid, but I was typically spaced out during that class.
My dad is retiring from the IRS this year after 30+ years of service. I spent a tax season working at the service center....
I feel your pain.
I own and run a presort company in San Antonio. For those that have never heard of presort it is basically what the post office does, except we handle only business mail. If anyone is working at a company in San Antonio and mails more than 500 pieces per day i can save you plenty of postage money.
