I have to wonder how many drives stall because of a conservative game strategy. It seems like we move the ball pretty easy when we need a score. Once we get the lead by a couple of scores and our defense is playing good then we usually start opting for low risk plays that doesn’t have a big chance of getting intercepted. I think Sark realizes that in these games the thing that would do us in would be to give the other team a short field and momentum flip. So he goes conservative to limit that. Some games w e are still able to score due to defensive breakdowns but against a team that has a capable defense we get bogged down. If the scores gets close then Sark goes back to more aggressive plays and we seem to score. No doubt he would communicate to Ewers when to push it and when not to. NFL teams do this all the time.
