Today’s Gift (11-13)

“Love is heaven and fear is hell. Where you place your attention is where you live.” —Alan Cohen

I have recently witnessed too much division in our culture and my family recently and it is a sad thing to see. I’m hoping and praying we can get back to respecting one other, no matter our differing opinions on various topics.

I imagine we all want our upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays with friends and relatives who have different views about life sitting at our tables to not end up in a food fight.

Be careful out there!

Important recruit commits to Florida on 11/11/24. Texas didn't offer. Evan Noel

Evan Noel

Kicker
Class of 2025 @ St. Stanislaus | Bay Saint Louis, MS

Hit 61 yard and 52 yard field goals this year. Florida flipped him from Arkansas.

Kohl’s Professional Camps, which only grades special teamers, lists Noel as a five-star kicker talent.

“Noel competed at the National Scholarship Camp in July of 2024 and had an outstanding camp. He scored 32/36 points on field goals and 107.5 points on kickoffs. Noel might have the best overall talent in the 2025 class! He is very consistent and handles pressure very well,” reads the Kohl’s breakdown of the newest Florida commit.

OT: Mattresses (Sleep Number)

I purchased (3 weeks ago) a Sleep Number Climate Cool King. I'm going to tell you this thing is bad ass. It has changed how I feel in the morning getting out of bed. I'm 40 and it's a world of difference to get a mattress that works for you that you spend 1/3 of your life on.

The price was $6,300 out the door. I used to Chase Offers (Freedom, Freedom Unlimited, Sapphire Reserve) - offers were up to $500.00 off each. Used 2 of them and dropped the price to $5,300 with the credits.

Wanted to share:

1.) Take care of your sleep/mattress. I never thought a mattress would ever cost that much, but no buyer's remorse.
2.) If you have Chase CC's, look at your offers if you're in the market for a new mattress.
3.) With sleep number there's an app you can control/schedule/adjust and adapt to and it's damn accurate how you sleep and vitals. It's pretty cool. Just turn off the anonymous analytics if you wish.

Not paid for this review, figured I'd share and someone can take it, if still on the fence. Just do it.

OT- Anyone know a judge for an Attorney Oath?

My oldest recenlty passed the California bar exam and will be in town Nov 25 and 26th. Does anyone know a judge who could possibly help with the oath? I think that would be nice rather than a notary etc.

She missed her SMU law school graduation to be with her younger sister who graduated from Vanderbilt on the same day. So, was hoping to make this "cool" for her.

Any thoughts appreciated.
