Duce Robinson

I was disappointed when Duce Robinson picked USC. I was misled the guy was a TE or could grow to be one. He clearly isn't and hasn't, just a tall WR. I wouldn't give him playing time over Wingo, Golden, Bond, Moore, etc. Lake McRee (from Lake Travis) and Walker Lyon are taking the TE snaps at USC. Duce is basically their 5th WR behind Lemon, Branch, Lane and Hudson. Big 28 yard catch today to set up a TD. For the year Duce has 15 catches and 4 TDs. Used a lot near the end zone. Reminds me a bit of Malcolm Epps, though quite a bit better.

Miss Tristan Foundation--Kentucky tickets

I am unable to go to the Kentucky game next weekend.

I have 4 seats, Upper Deck West Section 104, Row 11 plus a parking pass in State Garage R across the street from Scholz's.

I would like to offer them in exchange for a tax deductible donation to Miss Tristan Foundation, a 501-3C charitable organization. We provide water safety training to Pre-K4 age children in the San Antonio area, free of charge to the families.

I would like to get $1,000 for this package.

Thank you for your consideration.

The reason we won

This is Blue (if you look closely, he has one blue eye).
He is my Longhorn watching Buddy. I usually watch Texas games while sitting in my recliner. Blue usually sits in my lap for luck.
Today, he hopped up onto my lap and literally, the next play, Jahdae Barron intercepted the Arky pass. Blue spent the rest of the 1st half in my lap.

During halftime, we went out for a walk and he spent the 3rd quarter doing puppy things. He hopped back into my lap at the beginning of the 4th quarter and stayed for the rest of the game.

We won this game only through the good luck juju of Blue.

Bill Maher Blasts the Left

He has quite a few valid points but the Left keeps doubling down just like we see in the Corral.

Post Game Thoughts

A win is a win. Like last week the issues still persist in the run game. We can’t run right. Blue is the better back with ball security issues.

A win is a win. There are no Kansas’ in the SEC. Arkansas was big up front on both sides of the ball. We won’t be getting any ju-co transfers starting defensive fronts in the SEC.

A win is a win. Our offense has a zone defense problem. Ewers made some errant throws today and I’ll post all of the throws again this week sometime however, the offensive whether it be schematically or in recognition has a zone defense problem. The 4th quarter pass to bond was the first deep curl concept against zone since the 2nd quarter when Quinn zipped the ball in to Helm who found the soft spot and settled up.

A win is a win. I can’t tell you if it’s a schematic problem without knowing the details of the route concepts. What I can tell you is what my eyes see. Our WR’s run across zones passing one defender and running in to the next. There are very few times where our WR’s stop their routes settling in to zones and giving Ewers their numbers… we don’t run many concepts with curls or comeback routes. I don’t believe it’s a schematic problem as much as I believe it’s a recognition problem after the snap and not from the QB.

A win is a win our defense is flat out nasty and our special teams unit came to play. Mack used to always say on the road you have to pack your defense and your kicking game. It happened.

Always always celebrate a win. Especially against a bitter rival, in their house, when everything didn’t go your way.
