Interesting convo with qb coach

Have a friend who is a qb coach at a smaller college and has also been an oc for several years. . First statement he made was sark is an offensive savant and he has the highest level of respect for what he dials up.
The one thing he said he would like to see with Ewers is moving the pocket a little more and and more bootleg action. His thoughts were that Quinn's footwork is a little balky when he moves up in the pocket and thought he may be a guy who is just a little more comfortable moving left or right. Thought it was an interesting observation and would be interesting so see his stats when rolling out vs pocket.

The Key to Ewers improving is the same key to our overall teams success

It's all about the running game. If we are being honest it has sucked for several games now and coincidentally Ewers has struggled and our team has not looked Championship-caliber like we did in the first 4 games. Sark has said it multiple times that his offense works best when the run game is working. While everyone is concerned about Ewers (rightfully so) I am positive that we wouldn't be near as worried if our running game was on fire.

I'm not smart enough to know if its blocking schemes or our RBs not making the right choices on hitting the right holes but if its not fixed, we probably go 3-1 the rest of the way and barely make the playoffs.
