Official 1990s Sixth Street Bar List and Confessions Thread (Pic Included)

In the 1990s, I threw up after over imbibing outside at least 3 of the following places- Hot Shots, Mirage, and Hondos. I also met Playboy Playmate Echo Johnson at Amazon Jungle Bar, tried to hit on her, and flamed out in EPIC fashion. Good times.

By the Grace of God!

Former President Trump was looking to his right side when the shots were fired and was hit on the top of his right ear. Had he been looking straight ahead; the bullet most likely goes straight into his head. It wasn't his time.

The Rally attendee that was killed (shot in the head), had to be behind and off to the left of President Trump. God's speed and God's peace to that individual and their family.

In the greatest country in history, it's unfathomable that an American can't go to an election rally and not walk away with their life at the end of the rally.

We ALL must be better!

Tejas Burger/BBQ lawsuit…

Great burger, Houston folks will confirm. Hope this isn’t what it appears to be, but not a good look…

Democrats - How They Got Here

Good piece by the WSJ Editorial Board on how the Democrats got to a place where they have a President who is the 2024 nominee in extreme cognitive decline, and an incompetent DEI VP. What does it mean? and what is the path forward?

SOLD 2 LONGHORN SEASON FOOTBALL TICKETS SOLD

SOLD!! I have a friend selling 2 seats in section 115, row 8, which one of the seats is an aisle seat! $2,100. for both seats to all 7 home games! These are on the first row behind the walkway below with a railing in front of you. It's just like being in the first row of the upper deck! Chair-back seats and easy to buy beer just below you on the walkway! People going by on the walkway do NOT block your view. SOLD

Here's an example of what we're dealing with folks.

You want an example of the kind of distortion and misrepresentation we have to deal with from various news outlets? "The Independent" is a British news outlet owned by a Russian that has a large (30%) Saudi Arabia investor. Look at the headline, watch the video and then read the text.

1. Wray did NOT "cast doubt." He simply said he doesn't know.
2. They did NOT recover eight spent rounds from the roof top. They found eight shell casings.
3. They did NOT account for all the "spent rounds" that were fired. That would be impossible.

What do you suppose is the underlying implication here? Just incompetent reporting or something else?

Dems building a base in Texas

“Democratic donors target Texas while State GOP cash woes persist,” The Texas Voice's Mark McCaig — “Recent campaign finance reporting data has revealed that Prominent Democratic donors across the nation have continued to invest millions of dollars into building Democratic political infrastructure in Texas. This massive investment from the left comes as the Republican Party of Texas operates with a staff that is nearly 90% smaller than it operated with during the 2020 Presidential election cycle.

The Texas Majority PAC received $2.95 million of the $3.22 million it raised during the first half of this year from New York billionaire donor George Soros. The PAC spent over $1.8 million during the reporting period, leaving it with just over $2 million. Much of what the group spent went to pay for payroll expenses and donations to Democratic Party organizations and allied groups across Texas.

In addition to making significant investments in urban areas such as Houston, Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio, the Texas Majority PAC also made substantial expenditures in the Rio Grande Valley. The group’s most significant expenditure in the Rio Grande Valley was a $50,000 donation to the Cameron County Democrats PAC on May 30.

I guess Tim Dunn spent all his money purifying Ken Paxton and the Texas Republican party. Better to be pure than in power.

Kamala and her Hamas-loving Dems . . .

They’re too stupid to realize every time they do this, they fuel Hamas’s and it supporters’ intransigence, including some Dems, here in America. From The Free Press:

what Harris needs to do is spend the precious 100 days before the election defining herself before the nation. Simply sitting behind the rostrum as the leader of the Jewish state delivered a stirring address about how his country’s enemies were also America’s would have neutralized the Trump campaign’s efforts to paint the vice president as a San Francisco socialist who is out of touch with everyday people.
“Nobody knows where Kamala Harris stands on Israel,” former GOP foreign policy adviser Dan Senor told The Free Press. “She’s a blank slate. This was a high-profile opportunity to define herself on this issue, and she took a pass.”
Meantime, roughly half of congressional Democrats proudly boycotted. Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) attended with a sign that read “War Criminal.” Nancy Pelosi posted on X that Bibi’s speech was the “worst presentation of a foreign dignitary” to ever address Congress.
One wonders if the former House speaker noticed what was happening outside. Half a mile from where the prime minister was speaking, radicals and Park Police clashed at Union Station as some vandals replaced the American flags with Palestinian ones. Earlier in the week, the Palestinian Youth Movement claimed credit for releasing crickets and maggots at the Watergate Hotel where Netanyahu and his team were staying.
Kamala’s absence from the chaos has left her open to attacks. On Tuesday, House Speaker Mike Johnson said at a press conference, “Madam Vice President, you say you want to be the leader of the free world, and yet you can’t bring yourself to sit behind our most important and strategic ally in this moment.”
