You guys have history in both baseball and football. No one will dispute that. And it is a great history. The problem is with both football and baseball (less so with baseball) most of it was back when A&M was a military school and the other schools in the SWC/Big 12...were at a distinct competitive disadvantage. You guys had more money, more facilities, more everything. Heck, you should have won twice as many titles in both sports as you have with all the advantages you had. In baseball for many years, you guys had a really nice stadium while other schools played with a nice field and some bleachers. Since that has changed, statistics like those quoted above are vastly different. Right now, Texas Tech and TCU probably have the two best baseball programs in the state. Both our programs are behind them. In football, the Aggies have had the better football program 3 of the last 4 decades. You guys can dispute that, but those are the COLD HARD FACTS! You guys have had 1 great decade (2000's) and pretty much mediocre the other 3. We will see if Herman has turned the corner. He might have, but let's check back in mid-October for a better picture. You're more profitable because you make less gross than us and spend FAR less on your athletes from top to bottom. You NET more money than we do because you SPEND less on you athletes than we do.

We out gross aggy by about 3 million but we spend $61 MILLION more annually on our athletes.

So, I guess you are suggesting we just completely ignore the 2000s, and in that way y'alls stats look better (8-2 head to head, 2 conference championships, 2 BCS bowl wins, 1-1 in BCS championship games)? In that case, can we just ignore the 90s for TAMU?

Aggy has become very adept at slicing the pie just right to make the stats look a bit more even. Why stop at the 80s? Oh, because we dominated y'all in the 60s and 70s (16-4) and won 3 national championships (and 11 conference championships - vs aggies 2). You could throw in the 40s and 50s as well but that would just give you 2 wins and a tie.

Do whatever you want to make yourself feel better, but you can't slice this pie in any way to show aggy superiority. It just hasn't happened outside of an isolated and now 20 year old decade, that wasn't even that impressive with 3 top 10 finishes (none top 5) and a lot of bowl losses for aggy.

And let's talk currently, 2010-2018 has been a terrible stretch for Texas Football.
