1st time to Austin.....Where to hang on Thursday night?

Back in my college days I liked the Yellow Rose quite a bit. No live music but lots of cold beer and other things . . . Hell this 1 gal put my cowboy hat on her tiddies . . . Didn't fall off even when she did a hand stand on my lap! Those tiddies were big! I gave her a 20 for that . . . and I was a starving college student! 
They tell me oil can harry’s Is the only place to be with the kindest patrons always offering to push your stool up for you,whatever that means. I live in New Braunfels though so what do I know.
That was either Gabby or Rio. Rio always came out on stage dancing to Duran Duran for her first song. Actually upper 50's. A buddy & I try to roadtrip from up here in Michigan to check out good rivalry games, iconic stadiums & towns & such. Been a couple years but we're back on the road this year. Have been to Dallas for the RR Shootout but mostly SEC stadiums & here in the Big Ten. Heard Austin is a blast so we'll check it out. Big lover of all kinds of Music so ready to tune it up!!

I went there one time in the early 90’s. It was a weekday but damn there was one decent girl, quite a few fatties and a bunch of naked dudes that weren’t looking at the women if you know what I mean.
Those fellows had taken over the hollow by 1972. I'd say it was hippies for only a year or two. It did inspire my first vote. New candidate for sheriff said he wouldn't harass the nude bathers. I think that he was sheriff for over 20 years. Student bloc was decisive.
I went there before it was ever Hippie Hollow, just a swimming hole with naked women

Damn. Those sidewalks haven't been that clean since Austin wasnt being turned into San Fransisco.
DJ Sushi North location. Thursday is Karaoke night. occasionally see a known singer ( I. E saw RobertPlant there). Oh and there’s soft porn on the TVs and DK does a bad comedy routine to kick off the evening before getting drunk as he celebrates with a Saki bomb with each stage singer after their song.
