Could his leading UT on a 4 game run and his getting 300 vs Tech and KU and 150-200 vs WVU and TCU get this guy in the Heisman race? Could it get him an invite?

Everyone knows about Ricky Williams in 1998. But people forget Ricky also led the nation in rushing in 1997. Ran for 1893 yards in 11 games. We were 4-7 that year, and I don't recall him being anywhere near the Heisman discussion.

I doubt Foreman is on anyone's Heisman radar now or will be in the next few weeks.

If he gets 352 and we win on saturday, he will be in the discussion. 2000 yards is no joke if he could get there. Hed maybe get an invite if we win out.

UT finished 8-3 and 8-4 now are very close and he would have saved HCs job and and put all eyes on Texas. He can get 200 yards per game vs 3 of the nation's worst defenses and and average one.

He might get an invite anyway. He is 1st in rushing among power 5 teams. He won't win.

If he gets an invite this year if we win out and he runs for 2000 or close to it I would hope he comes back next year. With a stronger O line next year and a better team he could have a real shot at it next year.

Quintin Griffin had over 1800 yards rushing and over 2100 yards from scrimmage as a senior and wasn't even a contender really. He had more yards and more yards per carry than the other backs in the Heisman race except for Larry Johnson. It's hard to say how Foreman is perceived by the voters? He's definitely a talented back. In the final game of his career, Griffin declined Stoops request to go back in the game against Washington St. to break the all time single season rushing leader at OU. He only needed 13 yards to break the record. Pretty humble guy.

That is funny because I was just thinking that if I lost 80 lbs and had a 10 inch johnson I'd be in Taylor Swift's bed.

Keep dreaming.

10 inches? Passing out every time you got hard would be a distinct possibility : )

Since were talking about sex

Why waste something like that on Taylor Swift, when you could get Khloe Kardashian. Speaking of KK, I'm very disappointed that one of our burnt orange brethren, Tristan Thompson, is carrying on with her. Gross, gross, gross. TT, you are letting me down even making me embarrassed to be a Longhorn. Worst of all he's left his pregnant girlfriend for her. I saw a picture of her she's much better looking than KK. Did you hear that he and Lebron James got into over KK? True story.

8/4 ? possible
2,000 yards ? Not out of the question
Heisman ? No

It's either Lamar Jackson or Deshawn Watson.

If he reached 2000 and his YPC stay above 6, preferably 6.5 or higher than he has good shot at invite IMO. Probably gonna go to Jackson regardless.

Foreman continues to amaze. Thouht Ricky's record would stand for a long time.

Our staff needs to let Foreman break some of Ricky's and Earl's records. That will get him noticed too.
I like Foreman and have made it known here several times but I'm not sure I would think he's in the same class as Ricky or Earl even if he breaks some records. I'm curious what everyone's thoughts are on the difference in defenses are that Foreman is facing compared to what Ricky, Earl etc. faced. Obviously teams were geared up to stop the run first when Ricky and Earl were playing but not so much these days, at least not Big 12 defenses and the quality of Big 12 defenses are laughable. I'm not saying Foreman isn't really good but I don't think he's up there with those other two. Just my opinion.

I don't think Foreman is in the league with Ricky or Earl. He lacks the hip/lateral movement of those two backs. But, he is a great downhill runner, with good vision, good speed, and is a bruiser.

Earl and Ricky are top shelf, but Foreman is just a notch below with guys like Charles and Leaks. Below them are Benson and some of those guys from the 60's.

I don't know, man. Maybe I'm tainted by having watched him run, but I think Jamaal could've had a Heisman invite if he stuck around. Dude was lightning quick.

I know Leaks was a power back but JC was a threat to house it every time.

If Foreman were to get to 2000 this year and come back and do it again, I'd have to say he deserves mention as being right up there with Earl and Ricky. Even Ricky would not be mentioned in the same breath with Earl if he didn't come back for his senior year.

Foreman is good but not great. Let's think about guys like him, Mixon and perine. They are going against terrible defenses in the big 12.

He should not come back, he's be a fool. Henry won the Heisman and wasn't chosen in the first round and he was 6'3' 245, built like a LB... Go get your money!!!

Unless you think Mahomes needs to be invited as well, Foreman's #s do come with an asterisk unfortunately. His size and athleticism combo does translate well though. Big strong and fast is everything you want in a RB. Not that he couldn't tear it up somewhere else, but he's not going to get Heisman love on a .500 team with bloated offensive #s.

The difference between him and Pumphrey in terms of national perception (as Pumphrey's #s are bloated as well) is that Pumphrey isn't on a .500 team and his inclusion is more career based than this season. Pumphrey potentially could break Dayne's record.

Look at him now, teams were foolish for letting him fall to the second round. I doubt they do that with Foreman. Besides his ability to tote the rock like Henry and Ezekiel Elliott, he is a great receiver and a fantastic blocker. A team never has to take him out of the game. That means it's never a giveaway what your play is going to be by the package they bring in.

I also think it would be a mistake to not take the money, but like I said, Ricky had a 12 year career in the NFL and he came back.

I disagree. ...I think it all depends of his draft projection....If he has good reason(I mean solid good) to believe he will go first round...especially mid to high first round then he absolutely has to go. If not, perhaps he needs to come back and polish up his resume.
If he could improve his draft position to high first round status then he would have been smart to wait. Those high first round guys get crazy contracts with a great deat of up front or guaranteed money that the second round guys dont get. If he declares and then goes second round or lower, he could NEVER make up the difference.

He should do what is best for him, with no emotion built in. Of course I want him back, but I want him to get the best deal possible for him and his family.

In my opinion, Daddy Foreman has a LOT of research to do.

Lamar Jackson is winning the H, I don't care what Foreman does.
Of course, but UW's QB and Mayfield are up there to be invited. A 2000 yard rusher that missed a game would likely get invited if he was part of an 8-4 UT turnaround?

For D'onta to get Heisman attention & an invite:

Gilbert and Foreman both need to put games on his back. Carry the team. And for Pete's sake, hold onto the damn ball! No more 14 point swings, please!
