Again, I'll merge these into the FB recruiting thread later today, but thought they warranted their own post for a while.

A reminder that top JUCO tight end Dominick Anderson is scheduled to announce sometime today, if we're still going by what he tweeted about six weeks ago.

I emphasize "is scheduled" and "sometime" because Anderson has been completely silent about his decision since that tweet. I've reached out to him and several others this week just trying to get a time for his commitment but nobody I've spoken to even knows what time Anderson might announce, if he is in fact still announcing today.

Anderson, out of Arizona Western C.C., has visited Texas, Oregon, Louisville and Alabama and will choose from that grouping. Earlier this week, an Alabama source told that Bama felt confident and he reiterated that point this morning, but that source wasn't 100 percent sure on which way this one would fall.

Several UT commitments have been tweeting at Anderson this morning, which usually by design. My thinking, or hunch, is that Anderson is still keeping everyone guessing so Texas is trying to make one final push this morning. Pure speculation on my part here, but it wouldn't shock me if Anderson hasn't even completely made up his mind yet.

Total crapshoot on this one and I wish I had more information to offer, but everyone I've spoken with - including sources at Bama and Oregon - are pretty much in the dark and scrambling to find some sort of signs. My guess is Bama, but we should know sometime today.

Also, a quick note on Schertz Clemens WR Tommy Bush, who visited Texas last night. I exchanged texts with Bush late last night and he said it was another good visit to Texas. He said it really wasn't anything too new other than watching some walk-through stuff, he's still very interested in UT and he wants to continue to take things at a slow pace.

This one still seems to be trending up for Texas ever since UT offered at the Heat Wave party, including two visits to Texas by Bush in the last week.
