Been watching their regular season games this morning:
Texas 31 - Arizona St 13
- Good size at offensive line, their sneaky good play contributes to the success of the running game. It’s not just Skattebo, but the kid does run hard obviously
- Their passing game has a heavy dose of screen game to it. They’ll throw the fake screen go-route just like Texas
- QB has the athleticism to extend the play and throws a good ball. He’s a RS freshman version of Klubnik in my opinion
- General observation of poor tackling by Big 12 team defenses playing against Arizona St, too many 5 yard gains turned into 20+ yard gains
- Their defensive line can get pressure and cause disruption, but it doesn’t appear to occur very often. The Texas OL should have another great day
- Don’t see a lot of man coverage by their secondary, more zone with space given to WR trying to keep the ball in front of them. If Bond was healthy, he’d be feasting
