A&M Going After Jimbo?

Texas is fine where it's at. I don't see a move unless the whole conference explode. If the PAC 12 don't get their stuff right, you could see the AZ schools making a push towards the BIG12
Yeah. Point being. There is going to be more conference shuffling in 5-6,years. So the big 12 future past 2024 is a little questionable. I’d like to see them aggressive in expansion but they haven’t shown a lot of interest in that so far.

The big 12 is still making money but weather or not it lasts past this current TV deal(2024 I think) is a major question imo. I think Texas will be shopping itself down the road.

Why? We are only behind the SEC and B1G as far as media revenue, if I’m not mistaken. Texas and OU are the big dogs in a Power 5 Conference that is centered in Texas, you keep the Red River Rivalry, the playoff myths about the Big 12 have been dispelled as OU is once again going to be able to control their own destiny regarding the CFP (with one loss nonetheless), and you can keep the LHN. Do you want to end up in a conference centered on the West Coast, where your games are going to be played at 9 CST with significantly less viewers or in a conference where you take a backseat to OSU and Michigan?

No, they haven’t been interested in adding schools that would decrease the per-school payout from TV money and don’t improve the conference’s perceived strength.

Right. Now it didn’t make sense. But when everyone was shuffling around a few years ago they didn’t make a move, and we’re kind of left in the cold When it starts up again(and it will) would like to see them get aggressive.
