Since this is a sports board, maybe this analogy will make sense. We should expect our journalists to be neutral as we would expect our referees. If a ref made a comment like this about a team, you would never allow them to participate in the sport.
Why do we allow our 'independent' media to get away with this kind of partisanship. If we are good with journalists being this partisan, then we can't get upset when the administration blocks their access. I'm not sure you can have it both ways.
