I've confirmed with multiple sources that the Longhorns will be hosting a couple visitors who have flown under the radar.
Two sources, including one at Duncanville, have confirmed that Texas is hosting defensive tackle Marcel Southall on an official visit. Southall has previously visited Oklahoma and most have thought that the Sooners are the team to beat, but this could a big weekend for the Longhorns to make up ground for the 6-3, 270-pounder.
Also, two sources have told me that Texas is expected to host defensive end Isaiah Chambers on an official visit this weekend. Chambers, out of Houston MacArthur, has been committed to TCU since September.
This one's interesting because I first heard about the possibility of Chambers visiting this morning. I reached out to Chambers via text, and he responded that he was not planning to visit and UT wasn't even really recruiting him. However, two other sources confirmed this afternoon that Chambers is expected to be in Austin.
