How many times have you heard it said categorically that Native Americans, as well as many historic cultures around the world, recognized a third gender and even celebrated these individuals? The notorious "two-spirits" we're told about? And that white western culture erased this idea from society?
It's another fabrication.
Here's an interview with a Navajo elder describing in detail his culture's ancient teachings on gender. According to him, everything is male or female. There is no third category.
And it turns out the term "two-spirit" isn't a Native American term at all. It was invented in 1990 by LGBT activists.
