I've happened upon Reddit now and then but never lingered there. I happened upon it again tonight and decided to google it. Apparently it's the fifth most popular site in the US. Is it really that good?

Who uses it and what for? I'm interested in a new game that's going to be released soon and found a subReddit on it.
