I'm attending this game (in Longhorn gear). Lots of great pre-game festivities planned-Apache helicopters flying over, parachute team dropping in to deliver the game ball, moment of silence for the tragic death of the Army CB, and much more. Anyone else going?

My wife wants to go, but, I have some work to do if I want to finish before the Cal game. It should be a good turnout. Fort Bliss will be out in full force. El Paso people are very fond of Fort Bliss and the military, so it won't be as one sided home field advantage.

I wear UTEP gear when I go, but, many wear Longhorn gear to the UTEP games. Also, before the game many stand with the Hookem Horns in air while the UTEP band plays the UT Fight Song. I am not sure why they play it at all of the football and basketball games with the cheerleaders and pom pom girls doing the traditional dance to it, but they always have. Maybe as a tribute since it is an extension of the UT system.
