Then why did the Colts trade for a 37 year old QB who is owed over 80 million over the next 2 years when they could have had a 26 year old QB at 18 million for 1 year?

That's just my opinion on his character not his football abilities, and has absolutely nothing to do with him playing for OU although that doesn't help his cause around here.

I agree. The fact that the Browns are willing to take on a guy with 22 open civil cases and the Colts are trading for a 38 year old QB with 2 years of big money left on his contract, over Mayfield tells me a lot.
It tells me that NFL GMs do not hold Mayfield in as high regard as gooner fans. imo
46 million a year for 5 years. His talent outweighs the drama he brings to the team. Right now Mayfield's best shot at getting on the field is with the Panthers or Seahawks for a 1 year deal with the hopes of becoming an FA. Either that or beg Detroit to trade for him because he would be an upgrade over Jerod Goff. He is going to have to wait for the Jimmy G trade though. Kinda sad that then form number 1 has been passed over by the Browns, Saints, Texans, Falcons and Colts.

I did mention that Baker is getting paid to play, even if he is in Arena League.

Neither Brady or Rodgers are off limits. Both have some doucheness to them. Mayfield however, is a complete no class tool, as is Murray.
