Went to the game last night in Fayetteville. Brutal outing for our boys as we couldn’t get anything going offensively or pitching (their bats were all over us).
1. Stadium was beautiful. Like a double A park that I’ve been to. Great sightlines, very open, suites and boxes, etc. best college park I’ve attended.
2. Baseball is Arkansas’ thing right now. Over last 25 years they’ve had some great success so their fans have some good traditions. Very family oriented atmostphere
3. I took customers that were big Ark fans but 4 of us had. Longhorn gear on. We were surprised no jeering or yelling at us. Of course they jumped ahead and never looked back
4. Was a gorgeous evening. And the field was so nice
5. Got to meet Jonah Williams after the game and talk to his family. Said it was the nicest stadium he’s ever played in. He was stoked to get the start and said he’ll be ready for football. Big boy for 17 years old
6. Hope we redeem ourselves in games 2 and 3
