Going to a straight spread wouldn't suit our strengths IMO. I don't want to rely on Heard throwing 40+ times a game even if half of those are short/screen type of passes that are basically runs
The roster reminds me a lot of what Vince Young had in 03-04 with a lesser O-line of course.
I think we would be best suited to run power, zone read, with some misdirection using Heard's legs and some occasional play action and safe conservative passes. Pretty much what Vince did with Benson, Will Matthews, Selvin Young. We had Roy, Sloan and BJ but didn't throw much due to Vince's lack of development at that point
Doesn't sound exciting but I feel the duo of Foreman and Warren can wreck and get us 8-9 wins with a more mature defense than this years
