You're embarrassed to lose to Texas but yet are on a Texas board posting. Doesn't seem like you're that embarrassed.
Enough of your trolling and back handed, condescending remarks about Texas. Go post that crap on an OU board. Keep in mind what your posting and where you're posting it. You're asking for a quick exit if you continue your posting style here.
LonghornMM it's a rivals board where we take cheap shots at one another especially during the off season. I'm hoping you take that into consideration. Some of your posters post here just to troll, so they can't exactly be too upset when we respond. However your response and request is duly noted. I just hope this doesn't turn into a love fest come fall. It's nice to hear opposing opinions as long as it's done respectfully. Trash talk is one thing, crossing the line is another. Rival rules apply to everyone regardless of board
Not at all but why come to a board of a team that you're embarrassed of losing to. Makes NO sense at all or maybe you're a glutton for punishment.
So if Ou loses I'm not supposed to show my face? I'm sorry but you aren't making sense lol. I'm a fan regardless, not just when my team wins
I find it fun to argue with some texas fans, the non stalker ones at least. Its not that i dont care about losing to texas, its that It didnt matter last year. win or lose, OU was big 12 champs, and in the playoff. No big deal.
I dont care what other OU fans say or have done, doesnt mean anything to me. It was someone else, we dont all speak for eachother. Hey be happy about it, if you want, when you are 5-7 you have to find something to be happy about. But from my perspective, If Ou goes 5-7 i am worried about them sucking way more than worrying about who they actually did beat. Its like, yeah you beat a good team, so what. Guess it's just my mentality.
Again, we dont all speak for eachother. You can gloat and be happy all you want, nobody can stop you. It doesnt mean it wont look silly. I dont see too many isu fans gloating about shutting texas out. they know they got lucky. it happens.
What does it say about OU? It says they went 11-1, won the conference and went to the playoff. That's just the thing, it meant nothing to lose. Yep they lost, so what? big deal, they had a great season. If the loss had meant they got overlooked for the playoff, then i would be having some sour grapes, It would have sucked. But even the national champs lost a game. Counts as a loss all the same.
Yep they were the better team that day. It's just too bad the national title isnt played in october. I can fully admit it, they were better that day, but i also submit it didnt matter. texas stank ass afterwards and OU went on a winning streak afterwards. If anything, it woke OU up, they may have lost a different game later in the season that would have kept them out of the playoff. I wouldnt change a damn thing about the way they played leading up to selection to the playoff. I doubt it happens again, lightning doesnt strike twice in the same place. I hope texas does start hot, i hope they are undefeated coming into the game, i just doubt texas will be able to hold up their end of that.
Like I said if you're embarrassed to lose to us and we mean nothing I can't comprehend why you are on here.
Also you're a fan of ou NOT UT so what in the hell does that have to do with being a fan and posting on an UT board about being embarrassed of losing to us and not caring about UT. My brain hurts for some of you guys.

Heisennberg.....you are correct. Yall lost and it didn't matter......that's the same "Big game Bob" kinda thinking that gets that ass handed to them in "Big" games.....such as BCS Bowl games.....take a look at that BCS record because I'm sure after you do then that won't matter either. All those Big 12 championship rings and ou STILL has as many Championships as TEXAS does since 2000.....of course that doesn't matter.
Is the ultimate goal winning it all? Absolutely. However let's not act as though those conference championships aren't big time or important. They bring in hardware, it helps with recruits and it's bragging rights.

While I wish it was better, I can assure you during Stoops time at OU we have won more big games than we have lost

Soldier so the only big games are bcs bowls? All those big 12 championship games and wins over top opponents during regular season don't count? Lol come on man. And in 2008? I was fine either way on the decision. I guess in reality Texas tech should have got the nod
17 trips to a bowl game, now that's impressive. Many of them against top 5 competition, cant complain about his record. Trying to think of more than a few more accomplished guys coaching right now. Id love to have more championships but I'm a reasonable minded person who understands how hard it is to win and how many fans never ,ever ever get to see their team win one. So it's pretty awesome that he did win one if you ask me. It's worth noting that he's the only coach to ever win all the bcs games, and a championship. Made the playoff in year 2 of its existence, what do I have to complain about as a fan?
Well on ESPN's pre game show a couple of days ago two of their three of their prognosticators had the Big XII not making the playoffs.
Of course they all had Clemson winning the trophy no surprise there. They all had Bama in there as well again no surprise. For some reason they had MI in there and one of them had Clemson and FSU both making the playoffs. You know I don't get this Jim Harbaugh love from ESPN. But then again the ESPN people are dominated by former Big X and SEC players pay attention to that this year and you'll notice it as well.
This Jim Harbaugh thing reminds me so much of Mack Brown after his first year at Texas. Remember that recruiting class? We signed the nations top qb Cris Simms. Heck, we had the nations number one recruiting class, and because social media was just starting, MB had his little puppet, Bill Little, broadcast it to the world. We all know what happened later. I'm telling you I'm lmao at Jim Harbaugh and his media barnstorming tour everybody out here in the Bay Area is. Believe me he was the exact opposite when he was with the 49ers if he'd done that when he was here he'd still be the hc

Jim Harbaugh is recruiting on a foundation of sinking sand. You can see it with all the gimmicks and decommits. 3 in 2 days, one because they sent him a postcard thanking him for attending an event he wasn't at and spelling his name wrong. No matter how you try to spin it.... the games after the regular season are over are the BIG games. Niewins during the year are good.. but to use your own logic.... would you rather lose to a good team during the season or in the bowl game/nc game? Which carries more weight..... the obvious answer are the post season games due to what can be gained from them.... but feel free to nit pick... 4-5 in BCS bowls that were the focal point of all teams to start the year... everyone wanted to be in one of them.. which in case you cant figure it out means they mean more.
I'm not arguing that regular season games are bigger than the bcs bowls, but to act as though conference championships and top 10 wins during the season aren't big wins is silly.
