Bobby Layne’s curse

Layne had lead the Detroit Lions to two NFL championships. The Lions traded him to the Steelers in 1958 and Layne didn’t take that well. He swore the Lions would not win another NFL championship for 50 years. It has been 67 years and Bobby is smiling in Heaven and probably knocking back a six pack like he did on the bus to Texas baseball games
