Bowl Season Picks

Oregon just had a player penalized for being off sides. The funny part is that he was running to the sideline . Lol what a dumb ass. To make things worse uo had already stopped ou

I’ll tell you the big 12 is one of the more low key interesting conferences next year.

ok state is replacing its entire starting defense and it’s DC
Baylor has to replace a lot of its roster
Iowa state loses Purdy and Hall
OU loses some key guys.
TCU, Tech,OU all breaking in new staffs
And Texas landed arguably the most talented transfer on the market.

I don’t know who will come out on top next year but man it’s wide open

So the Horns are back? Just curious.

Wow. Didn't take Alabama long to shove it right up Cincy's rectum. Cincinnati has had a great season. But Tulsa and Memphis don't have O-Lines like Bama.

It's over. This is an obvious talent mismatch. Bama will continue with the ground game and control the clock and the game.

So I met a friend and his new girlfriend for dinner last night in ft worth at the stock yards...there was plenty of Bama and cincy fans. So I'm just walking with my wife and baby around and I see a group of cincy fans and you wouldn't believe this they already have sweaters and shirts with the XII logo on it.....

Gundy better start running Sanders more. ND looking good 21-7

Still early in the game. But Rising, wow. Not sure OU ever lost a QB this good but will see in a few years.

How did that pay off?
Sam did a lot of good things, so no way I'll blame anything on him. No conference titles-only bowl wins. We all talked on these boards about the OL and DL non stop throughout the end of Browns era, all through Charlie's era and Tom's era. Some how we saw all of it, but those coaches didn't zone in and get it fixed. Sark did this year what they should have done. Sark may have not had a great year, but the fact that he did what he did in recruiting gave many, including me, some confidence by how he is building his team

Not to rub it in (ok, I lied) but Rising looking like a white Vince Young.

He's looking good. Fun game to watch. They just got through saying that Coach Whittingham said that Rising is the best QB leader he has ever had. I don't know if it was Texas' fault he transferred anyway. It is the modern young man's impatience when they don't get to start right away. Rising would more than likely been our QB this year just like he is barely Utah's QB this year. Rising gained nothing as far as being a starter earlier by transferring. I believe Casey would have transferred long ago if Rising was still at Texas. That is a shame because Texas needed a leader this year. We needed somebody being in the other player's ears to keep everybody focused..

At the time, Sam was it and Casey was better than Cameron. But Cam was too good to be 2nd-3rd fiddle so he made the right move to transfer. Cali boy, no ties to the Great State of Texas. Not sure, but is Utah closer to family and girlfriend? And his religion? If he had come to Texas a year later, Sark might would have kept him.

the manipulation from ESPN announcers is sickening. The first excuse they have to give right after the close win over Utah and repeatedly, "Ohio State short-handed finds a way to win".
not once did they question how tOSU despite having a huge margin in the recruiting is not putting Utah away.

I heard the same sickening Big 10 homerism from the ESPN announcers during the Penn St / Arky game. Arky manhandled Penn St but it was all about Penn St being short handed and opt outs.

Feel bad for the ole miss qb. He’s a first round pick and decided not to opt out and play. And gets hurt.
Backup just threw a pick six.

A good example there of why opting out isn’t a bad move if you have nothing to play for.

It’s hard to argue with what Aranda is doing because there is no denying his success. But, man, he has gone for it twice on 4th down on his own 40 and failed both times. It would drive me crazy

I wonder how Aranda interviews for jobs because he is horrible at TV interviews. His post game interview was painful to watch. He obviously interviews well enough to get the job.
