Brewster getting railed on Tweeter

Tim Brewster should remember something that he's apparently forgot. During his time at Texas we were the real dbu and don't give a rat's *** who FSU has sent to the NFL. The University of Texas has been dbu for close to 40 years. True that. And last year Holton Hill and especially Deshaun Elliot have brought the title back. And on Feb 7th the horns not the aggies signed the nations best group of db's. And with our dc and his coaching staff I cant wait to see what happens and I know everyone here feels the same way.
I never liked Tim Brewster. He loved talking to the media bragging about all the players he recruited. And he had that annoying pompous strut when the team came out on the field that really pi**ed me off.

WRONG.
Texas has had db's going in the first round on a regular basis since 1977. And a lot of those players went on to have solid careers. Some went on to make the Pro Bowl. Some went on to play in the SB and some now have SB rings.
And if you want to compare previous coaches and their secondaries Texas has FSU beat again. Our entire secondary from the NC team went on to play in the NFL. MB has Fisher beat 7 days a week and twice on game day. And in a few years Tom Herman will have Fisher beaten as well.
One more time. Holton Hill and Deshaun Elliot have brought the tradition of great db's at the University of Texas.
You should be more concerned on how long it will take Willie Taggert to catch up with Dabo. And for that matter throw in Mark Richt.

I would recommend prior to building a glass house that the rocks are all out of the yard. Maryland last year and Kansas the year before are rather substantial sized rocks.
Bingo. I don’t think you want to match accomplishments of each team during my lifetime. 1980 to now.
You guys are still coming out of the Charlie Strong era. I have a feeling you guys will get it turned around. Herman seems to be a top notch recruiter. I’ve always liked Texas. Watching Ricky Williams, Vince Young was fun.
I just disagree on Texas producing better DB’s than FSU.
