Help me out Scholz. Didn't KK leave for the Cardinals? I guess he doesn't like the oc that replaced KK. 0nce again Clay Helton has turned his job into a dumpster fire.

This is not without precedence. Just last year out here in northern Cali there was a 5* recruit from Reno named Brandon Kaho. He signed with WA. All the folks up there were excited it was Chris Petersen's first 5* recruit. Funny thing happened last summer. BK said he had family issues and said he was thinking about playing close to home. Said he needed time to think about it.

But lo and behold guess what happened? He decided to sign with Alabama. Now fellas I took out my trusty Rand McNally and just like I suspected Tuscaloosa, Alabama is a lot farther from Reno, Nevada than Seattle, Washington. These are the things that make me wonder why does everything go Alabama's way? I can't prove it and I don't know somebody that knows somebody but I'm certain that Alabama pulled something fishy.

One more important thing. BK did not have to sit out last season.

Just wait for it.... ESPN will declare OU and Bama likely landing places after DMN has said it Texas.

Yes Kliff went to the Cardinals right after Bru started classes there. McCoy family was not happy about that, felt lied to. Helton still hasn’t hired a new OC out there either.

On signing day it looked like SC was going to have a mediocre recruiting season. But all of a sudden they got verbal committs from 3 four* receivers. Now McCoy is gone, and Puka Nacua is going to decommitt to WA. And CH hasn't even named an oc yet?

Pitiful

This just made my day! Should put us with another top 3 class this year in recruiting...

If we move up to the #3 recruiting class, that will bump aggy to #4. My God, the meltdown will be delicious.

I have particular friend who has been talking shit about aggy have a better recruiting class. I want to watch him have a seizure.

Do we want him to play LB or WR? Seems like the bigger need is at LB.
We pitched him as a WR with a "package" of plays at OLB. It was different than a lot of schools who wanted him solely at LB.

Bru will at at Texas Sunday and will enroll in classes on Monday. Helton promised his release from his NLI and now Texas will just have to petition the NCAA for a waiver for him to be immediately eligible which will most likely be granted.
I've read that the McCoy family is apparently petitioning the NCAA for a waiver for immediate eligibility on the basis that SC lied (or at least didn't give them the full truth) to them about Kingsbury and Tee Martin sticking around. The general consensus is that he'll get it considering the circumstances of his recruitment, but it's the NCAA so you never know.

I just watched Bru's highlights on YouTube for the first time. My opinion is that he needs to play wr nomatter how stacked we might be.
There's a lot of chatter about him playing LB but having another tall wideout with sticky hands will pay off better from day 1. Especially now that Sam has started looking past option 1. Perfect follow-up to Lil-Jordan.
Now if we can just get our O-line to consistently play mean and buy more pocket time, explosive plays will follow. Oh, and cutting the zone read option plays in half sure could help our RBs to blast through a gap before the doors close too.

I agree with him playing receiver, but could you imagine him putting on 25 to 30 pounds of muscle in the next couple years he would make a hell of a pass rusher. From what I have seen on film is he is extremely quick off the ball. Either way it’s a good problem to have! I have a feeling we are not even gonna miss Humphries at all. I wish the season started tomorrow cause I really believe we have a special group of kids that Herman is putting together and I see some playoff games in our programs future.

I hear ya 100% but B12 style ball requires you to consistently put up big numbers on the board to be competitive. Offenses are already way ahead of defense schemes then adding in all the constantly changing rules for safety compounds the dilemma. Do you use limited resources trying to buck the trend (Mack B after loss to bama), or do you try to be the best at what is already winning for you? (See defenseless okies that made playoffs again)

I'm not advocating us to neglect defense, just advocating a juggernaut offense. Wasn't our longest explosive play this year something like 40yds? We need to be a scoring threat everywhere between the uprights so our #2s & 3s play the 4th qtr.

I've seen a couple articles on Twitter stating that there is another twist in the Bru McCoy saga...I'm not a subscriber to either of them. Have any of yall heard anything?

USC 247 site moderator put out an article last night that Bru is considering going into the transfer portal and back to USC.

The moderators on the Texas 247 site have not been able to confirm or deny and are mysteriously quiet about it so there might be some legs to this
