Bryant Westbrook was a real bad ass

This was my all time favorite hit by a UT player. Tony Brackens nails the kicker from Tech on a fake field goal attempt. I was at the game and our seats were at the perfect angle to see this hit. We seriously thought that he may have killed him. That's how vicious the hit looked and sounded at the time.

Yep, I was there, too. Sounded like a car crash in the upper deck. Same as the Vasher hit. Speaking of, after what Nate and Tony did, I’m Tech I never attempt a fake kick against Texas again.

Irrelevant. I’m a college fan, not an NFL fan. I’m happy for AD though, maybe it soothed the sting of sitting on the couch watching Texas take his NC. Lol
I doubt it. AD knew he was gonna be the first running back selected in the 2007 draft. He coulda jumped to the pros right outta high school.

Ha ha, who had the hall of fame NFL career though?

I'd take the national championship all day long. I seem to remember Peterson saying that he went to OU instead of Texas to "win a national championship". How did that work out for AD? He made the wrong choice.

Peterson comes to Texas, we win the 2004 natty and the 2005 natty.

Period.

Reactions: Metcalf #2
Btw that was just a joke. I actually feel bad for Blake, as I know nobody felt worse about that drop than he did. Blake was a solid safety for us. He was part of a secondary that led the nation in picks, so he’s no GDDH.

so if anybody gets upset about my joke, cry me a river. Idc about your feelings.

Well in defense of AD, Sooners were ridin high at the time. It's hindsight now and speculative. Think him and Vince could have run off multiple trophies? That's debatable. AD's nagging injuries were a pain in the ass.

For awhile I was upset with Blake about the dropped interception. But after 12 years of intensive therapy with Dr Hodges and the group I've learned to forgive him. And just in time because Blake's our new safeties coach. And his wife is pretty.

It was a little bit out of line but I thought it was ok. When it came to slow footed Caucasian safeties Blake was no GDDH. In fact he had a great game against AL in the title game.

And although he was a 2* recruit out of high school he started every game at TX. And Metcalf you should check out Blake's instagram account. He's got a clip of all the great db's at TX and no GDDH is not in there.

Vince and AD were both horses. Vince's best attribute was running the ball also. Could it have worked? Who knows.

I think it would of worked just fine, the run game would of been ridiculous and then add Jamal Charles and Ramonce Taylor backing up Peterson, Texas would of been set for years.
