We’re looking into renting a house for the week of Fourth of July for two families somewhere up in the mountains. I think we’ll probably drive but if there’s a direct flight from DFW we’d consider that route too.
The two cities I’m thinking at first glance are Telluride (never been) and Created Butte (been skiing before) but I’m open to suggestions as we haven’t booked anything.
Anyone with experience on pros and cons for staying in a town vs outside I’d love to hear!
