2017 Woodrow Wilson ATH/DB Speedy Green reached out to me this evening to let me know he'd be in attendance for Texas junior day 2/27. Good, instinctive player - he's also hearing-impaired and is an interesting guy. I like his read-and-react instincts best as a DB.
Also was notified that DE Troy Porche, Houston Lamar, tweeted he'd be in attendance. Looking at the highlights, he's probably the type of player who will grow into a body much better-suited for the strong-side defensive end than the 3-tech. Can't say I'm in love with the junior highlights, but he exhibits some ability to hold up and redirect to the runner with efficiency while engaged.
