Couple Orange Bowl Observations

1. Almost shocking how much both teams used the QB in the run game. Felt like I was back in the 70s. Especially after years of the Air Raid Big 12 and even the now pass happy SEC. Wonder what the stats are for QB injuries while acting as primary running option on the play. We all might be surprised.
2. Penn St D gassed out in 2nd half. ND did a little too, but not as much. Saw guys on both Ds loafing on plays where they could have made an impact. No Whittington or Bolden effort being given. Not impressed by either team’s conditioning.

Think we could pretty easily take either one. Hope we get the opportunity.
